Textile Prints

Vibrating with bold prints and kaleidoscopic colours, Kathryn Croxson debuts her eclectic collection of limited edition pieces.

Celebrating the unique, Kathryn Croxson infuses irresistible joy into every piece of her intimate range encompassing cushions, tea towels, lampshades, handkerchiefs, resort wear, scarves, handbags, kimonos and storage bags.

A true visual storyteller, her signature organic prints designed in
an array of exuberant colours, aims to heighten the emotional adventure of each piece.

Kathryn believes in taking life’s practical items – bags, handkerchiefs, tea towels – and transforming them into special treasures. Her process involves creating different graphic chapters throughout a single print and then weaving them together to deliver a highly individualistic design.

She also brings an artisan’s commitment to the range, producing only a select number of highly stylized items, all designed in the United Kingdom, and made predominantly in suede and silk, adding a sense of bohemian luxury.

Whimsical and unpredictable the collection reflects Kathryn’s ultimate belief in creating a joyous visual experience: “I want to inject a sense of positivity and exuberance into people’s lives. My designs are highly individual and I want people to become excited by the special and rare.”

About Kathryn Croxson

Kathryn Croxson creates from the epicenter of colour using its uplifting powers to inspire positivity. The Australian-born artist’s love of vivid hues and intriguing prints was first ignited when she studied graphic design. This became the launch pad for entering into the world of architecture and fashion. Working across these two industries Kathryn learnt about the power of design to impact the emotions. Architecture taught her to focus on details as the backbone of great design. Whilst working for the fashion industry enabled her to gain a rich knowledge of both textiles and print techniques.

Her travels across Turkey, Argentina, Bolivia and Australia have also fuelled her love of colour and unique patterns.

Ultimately Kathryn creates from the subconscious intertwining dreamlike patterns with sensual fabrics to transform ordinary objects into the unique.
